In Ligue 1, PSG are set to play against Olympique Lyon at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Olympique Lyon have had a modest season and the team is currently in 6th position with 33 points from their 23 games. In their previous outing, Olympique Lyon only managed a 0-0 draw at home against Amiens SC. It was a hugely disappointing result for Lyon as they failed to win at home against a much weaker side. Olympique Lyon had 65% of the possession but they failed to create enough scoring chances with the team only having 3 shots on target. This is expected to be a much tougher match for Olympique Lyon as they are playing against an elite team in PSG.

Looking at PSG, the team is comfortably placed at the top of the Ligue 1 table with 58 points from their 23 games. PSG are 12 points clear at the top of the table. In their previous outing, PSG defeated Nantes 2-1 away from home. It was a solid performance by PSG as they controlled 66% of the possession and had 19 shots. Mauro Icardi and Thilo Kehrer both scored goals for PSG. The depth and quality in this PSG team is incredible and they will feel that they can win this match with some comfort.

PSG and Olympique Lyon played each other earlier in the season. The match was played at Lyon where PSG won 1-0 away from home. Neymar scored the winning goal for PSG.

Looking at all the information, I am going to pick PSG to win this match. PSG are playing at a different level when compared to Olympique Lyon. Having said that, we are not getting a great price on betting on PSG to win so the best wager will be the over 2.5 goals. Lyon have a poor defense and I see them conceding 3 or more goals.
