Real Madrid are set to play against PSG in the UEFA Champions League. This match will be played at the Parc des Princes meaning that PSG will be the home team.

PSG enter this match at a disadvantage with Mbappe being ruled out due to injury. To make matters worse, Neymar is suspended and Cavani is still injured. With Cavani, Mbappe, and Neymar all out of the side, Icardi is expected to lead the attack alongside the likes of Di Maria. While there is still quality in the side, PSG are missing their main attackers which is expected to be a disadvantage. PSG enter this match in good form having won their last 3 Ligue 1 matches. This is expected to be a challenge but PSG will be hoping to win.

On the other side of the coin, Real Madrid have also big players missing. Sergio Ramos is suspended while Luka Modric and Marcelo are injured. On a positive note, Eden Hazard is fit to play and he is expected to link up with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale. Real Madrid defeated Levante over the weekend with Benzema showing outstanding form by scoring 2 goals. The Real Madrid side looks good going forward but with big names missing in defense, it may be tough for the team to defend well. That being said, Real Madrid are always expected to win so the pressure will be on the side as they enter this match.

Real Madrid and PSG played each other in the Champions League in early 2018. Real Madrid won 5-2 over the 2 legs.

Both PSG and Real Madrid are elite teams and will be desperate to start their Champions League campaigns with a win. With that in mind, I am going to pick PSG to win this match. Real Madrid are missing key players in defense and I see them struggling to defend away from home without the likes of Nacho and Sergio Ramos. PSG have a good record at home and I see them being good enough to get all 3 points from this fixture.
