Poland will open their World Cup campaign against African nation Senegal. Both nations have some big players and both sides will feel that they can make it to the next stage of the competition. As a result, we should be able to witness a great game.
Poland are filled with talented players. This side was impressive in qualifying and they will hope to use that form in the actual tournament. Poland will be heavily reliant on Robert Lewandowski. The Bayern Munich striker is their best player and if he can play well, he can win the game for the team with his own boot. I expect Robert Lewandowski to cause the Senegalese defenders tons of issues and this aspect of the game might decide the end result.
On the other side of the coin, Senegal will hope that their main player, Sadio Mane, will be able to win the game for their side. Senegal were solid in qualifying and this side has many positive aspects. It will be important that the team plays together and if that happens, they will have a great chance of challenging in this group. Senegal will also need to find a way to stop Robert Lewandowski because if they don’t, not ever Sadio Mane can win it for the African nation.
Taking everything into consideration, I am going to predict that Poland wins this game. While Senegal are a good side, I think Poland are better. In addition to that, Poland will be more familiar with the conditions in Russia and that might be enough to get Robert Lewandowski and his side over the line. We are getting a good enough price on wagering on Poland to win and as a result, it is the bet which I am going to be suggesting.
