Soccer | Hungary (1-1-0) vs Portugal (0-2-0)

Hungary vs Portugal is set to be an impressive game as both teams will look to win and take top spot in this group. That being said, Portugal have yet to qualify so that will also be on the minds on the players.

Hungary have been impressive and to be honest they have probably already achieved all that they expected in this tournament. This team is not very talented but they play together and they play with heart allowing them to be a real force. With that in mind, Portugal will be a whole new test for them since the talent that the Portuguese have available is a lot greater than any other side in this group.

For Portugal, if they don’t win this game it might be enough to get them eliminated. That will be a terrible result for a side that got one of the easiest group draws in the competition. This game will test their players since they will be under pressure and that might just motivate the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo enough to get the side over the line.

I think Portugal will win this game but I don’t think it will be an easy win. That is why I think we are not getting the right price to bet on Portugal to win outright. I think betting on the goal line is probably the better option and I am going to take the under 2.5 goals. Neither side has really scored freely in this tournament and although Portugal do have the potential, I think they will simply grind out a 1-0 win. We are getting a pretty good price on this wager and all in all it is probably the best bet in the game. Another decent bet is both teams not the score but with a Portugal defense that includes Pepe, you never know.

Pick:
Under 2.5 Goals
