Poland take on Portugal in a game that will very amazing since neither team would have expected that a spot this late in the tournament would be available for them. That being said, both teams are quite evenly matched and they both have their own number of superstars so this should be a cracking contest.
Poland have been impressive this tournament and we all knew of their strikers but it is their defense that has impressed more. The back line of the Polish has conceded not many goals and even managed to get a clean sheet against Germany in the group stages. They will take this confidence into this game since it will be important that they stop Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal have not been impressive in this tournament and although managed to sneak past a strong Croatian side, it will be a lot tougher to the same thing twice. This will be the perfect chance for Cristiano Ronaldo to step up but he has just not been performing this tournament and I don’t back him to do so against Poland.
I think Poland will win this game and go through to the semi-finals of the tournament. This is a game where both teams are evenly matched on paper but Poland are the team in much better form and as a result I think they should win. We are getting an amazing price on them since they are big underdogs for some reason and I think any sized bet on this game is acceptable. The other bet which people look at is the goal total but considering it is a semi-final it is best to avoid it. If you are insistent of betting on the goal total though then the under 2.5 goals is the much better option.
