Premier League Week 33 04/10/2016 Preview, Odds, Pick and Where to Watch

Aston Villa (13/5) Draw (12/5) Bournemouth (21/20)10:00 E.T

Aston Villa are all but gone, it's only a matter of time now. Aston Villa sacked Remi garde a couple of weeks back their second managerial change of the season. Villa have just been terrible this season and have now lost nine of their last ten. It just doesnt look like Villa have any chance of saving themselves and they are just playing out the remainder of the season in a haze from what i can see. Jordan Ayew and Rudi Gestede will provide Villa's best attacking options and they may find some joy here agaisnt a Bournemouth team who were terrible against Manchester City last weekend. Bournemouth are two points away from the magical 40 points which usually brings with it safety. Eddie Howe and his side have done well this year and the january signing of Afobe could prove to be the key to their survival. Tough one here away from home though and I think Aston Villa are probably due a performance. Aston Villa are and have been terrible but I think they can pull off a shock win at home here.

Pick Aston Villa

Swansea (16/5) Draw (5/2) Chelsea (17/20) 10:00 E.T

Chelsea announced that Antonio Conte would be taking over at the end of the European Championships, until then Gus Hiddink will continue the strong work he has accomplished in his second temporary stint as Chelsea boss. Chelsea have a strong team , strong squad but have had a terrible season. Eden Hazard has been poor, Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas have foudn some form but overall it has been a disappointing season. Chelsea will bounce back next season but they have struggled to win games like this one and Swansea have been playign tough of late. Swansea have the physical players up front in Batafembi Gomis, Andre Ayew and Gulfi Sigurdsson to take the game to Chelsea. I fancy the Swans to get something from this one and am going to take the draw here.

Pick: Draw

Watford (12/5) Draw (23/10) Everton (23/20)

Big game here as Everton travel to Vicarage Road to take on a struggling Watford team. Troy Deeney and Andre Ighalo were impressive as a partnership early in the season and have played well without much reward. Watford have only scored in two of their last six games. Everton can be a mixed bag as they have been most of the season. Romalu Lukaku and Ross Barkley are having phenomenal years and will look to continue their strong form here. Everton on their day are as good as any of the big five but they have been far too inconsistant. This is an opportunity for Everton tomove up the tabel though and I think they take it.

Pick: Everton

Southampton (1/2) Draw (5/2) Newcastle United (7/1)

A huge match up for Newcastle United who simply have to get wins to give themselves any chance of survival. Newcastle Lost a heart breaker last week to Norwich a game in which they came from behind twice and only lost in injury time. Rafa Benitez took over Newcastle a couple of weeks back and needs some luck if  he is to help Newcastle to survive. Southampton have won seven of their last twelve,  Grazianno Pelle has found his goalscoring boots again, Mane was terrific of late and Southampton were desperately unlucky to lose to Leicester last weekend.  I see this being a tight affair and reckon their is some value on Newcastle +1.

Pick : Newcastle +1

Crystal Palace (1/1) Draw (23/10) Norwich City (14/5)

Crystal Palace have not won in the league since September, I think they struggle again here. Alan Pardew side while impressive earlier in the season hve been terrible since. Crystal Palace's problem hsa been scoring goals and bringing in Adebayor in the January market hasnt worked out so well. Palace need some wins and bolasie, Zaha and Pucheon need to find a way to score some goals. Norwich City have managed to find some wins when they needed them most and they now lie just three points behind their opponents tomorrow. This is a real six pointer for both clubs and should be tence because of it. I'm picking the draw as I cant go with either team straight up.

Pick: Draw

Liverpool 7/10 Draw 3/1 Stoke 5/1

After a fine performance in Germany against Borussia Dortmund Liverpool come back to Premier League action with a tough game agaisnt Stoke City in Anfield. Stoke are a good side and they will give this a good go. Bojan, Diouf, Arnautovic are all having good seasons and they will take the game to a Liverpool defence that have struggled at times this season.  Stoke play strong physical football at pace and their counter attack is lightning quick Mark Hughes side will fancy this one. Liverpool are now concentrating on the Europa League with a real chance of winning the competition. I think that Jurgen Klopp will rest a couple of his key men and for me that is enough to take Stoke on the handicap. Even if Klopp plays his strongest side I think this a real spot where Liverpool could fall flat.

Pick: Stoke +1
