PSG get their UEFA Champions League underway when they take on Malmo at the Parc Des Princes on Tuesday evening, PSG are still without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovich but the big Swede may be back on the bench on Tuesday night. Led up front by Edison Cavani who has four goals in four games in the Ligue 1 action so far this season and who was very impressive against Bordeaux at the weekend PSG have talent all over the park and are by far the biggest threat to the established sides like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. With the money they are spending on players though PSG are going to have to deliver a Champions League sooner or later. Angel Di Maria was another big money signing in the summer coming over from Manchester United where he struggled to settle after a good start. Laurent Blanc has a fabulous squad and this game against Malmo should not in theory represent too much hassle.
Malmo come into this game off the back of a couple of wins domestically, the Swedes just about over came Celtic in the last round of qualifying and this represents much bigger game on a much bigger stage. Malmo are a fine side and they have players that can cause PSG problems if they were watching the Ligue 1 game against Bordeaux at the weekend they will have seen a template of how to cause problems for PSG. Play with pace and defend deep. Rosenberg and Berget will have to take any chances that they do create as there wont be many for Malmo.
Really tough to find value in this game Malmo are deserved underdogs but PSG have this tendency to occasionally struggle agains the minnows. Not much I can take her as value though and one bet that I think stands out for me is Cavani to score any time at evens. Cavani has been on fire since the start of the season and he gets to start through the center in his best position as long as Ibrahimovic is out for me he is worth taking to score at some stage.
