PSG vs Manchester City 6 April 2016: Champions League Preview and Predictions

Out of the 4 quarter final matches in the Champions League this season, the one that I am most anticipated about is surely the clash between the French champions, PSG, and the English giants, Manchester City. Both teams have a lot of money invested in them but neither have managed to make an impact on the European main stage so this will be their chance in what should be an amazing two legged tie.

The first leg of this fixture will be played at Paris and the French side will want to make an impact and take a big advantage with them as they head to Manchester in a few weeks’ time. I like this PSG outfit and the combination of Ibrahamovic and Di Maria has really made a big impact this season so I think that partnership will be key. At the back this team is solid, being led by Thiago Silva, although David Luiz does bring up some question marks. Nevertheless, this is still a great team and I think at home they will be extremely tough to beat.

Manchester City on the other hand will also want something out of this fixture since they can really use it to their advantage when they play their home leg. This team has been the definition of hit and miss this season so it will be interesting to see what team shows up. I think that it will be their good version since this is the only tournament they have left which they can win and the likes of Yaya and Aguero surely want to win something this season. I think we can expect a good showing from the away side here and although it will be tough for them to win, I think they can get a draw here.

As far as betting is concerned, I think the best option is to bet on the outright result. We are getting a good price and I think we should take it. This should be a cracking game and hopefully it lives up to its expectations.
