PSG and Manchester United will meet at the Parc des Princes in Paris for the second leg of the round of 16 tie. PSG are in a dominant position as they lead the tie 2-0.
Leading up to this game, Manchester United played against Southampton in a match which they won 3-2. Romelu Lukaku was the star performer for Manchester United as the striker scored 2 important goals to secure the 3 points. This will be a very tough task for Manchester United as they are playing against elite opposition away from home and they must score at least twice. On a positive, Manchester United are unbeaten since their first leg loss so the team will be confident as they enter this match.
On the other side of the coin, PSG have continued their dominance in France as they won their game over the weekend 2-1. It was a very solid performance by PSG as the team controlled 73% of the ball and had 25 shots. Mbappe was the star again as the French striker scored 2 goals to gift the team a victory. The Champions League is the biggest focus for PSG so they rested many players over the weekend. The PSG players should all be fresh as they enter this match.
Manchester United have been playing very well since the firing of Jose Mourinho but their slip in the opening leg of this tie has made it very tough for the Red Devils to qualify. Manchester United will have to play ultra aggressively throughout the match and that will expose their defence to the likes of Mbappe and Di Maria. PSG were far too strong for Manchester United during the match played at Old Trafford and I see them finishing the job at home. I am picking PSG to win this match and qualify for the quarterfinals.
