PSG vs Real Madrid 6 March 2018: Champions League Soccer Preview and Predictions

PSG and Real Madrid meet in Paris for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie. Real Madrid won at home 3-1 meaning that the reigning champions will be entering the second leg with a massive advantage.

PSG started the first leg positively but unfortunately, things have not gone well ever since. Real Madrid fought back and since that game, they have lost key player Neymar. The Brazilian superstar is out injured and this will be a huge blow for the French side. Angel Di Maria is expected to replace Neymar and he will hope to link up with the likes of Cavani and Mbappe to produce the attacking threat. PSG need to score goals and even without Neymar, I think they have enough to find the back of the net.

On the other side of the coin, Real Madrid needs to ensure that they don’t get beaten by more than 2 goals. The Spanish side have not been at their best this season but it seems like the big players manage to step up when needed. Ronaldo has found some form and that should be a massive boost since he has the ability to win games on his own.

Looking at all the information, I think that Real Madrid will do enough to qualify but I don’t think they will win this game. I am expecting PSG to win this game by one goal. As far as betting is concerned, we are getting a good price on the outright result which suggests PSG will win. I am also a fan of Real Madrid to qualify. Both these bets make sense so either is understandable.

PSG to win
