PSV will come face to face with former striker Memphis Depay the player they sold to Manchester United in the summer. Depay has had a sensational start to his Manchester United career in Europe scoring twice in a 3-1 win against Bruge at home and providing assist in the second game. United have just splashed out €50 million on Anthony Martial and with Mata, Depay, Martial and Rooney this is a side that looks likely to compete on all fronts this season. Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal will have to choose between Fellaini and Depay for the start through the center as Rooney looks to be struggling with a hamstring injury. I think the former dutch manager will go with Fellaini playing Mata, Herrera and Depay in behind and Schniederlein and Schweinsteiger protecting the back four. This is a talented side but they face a tough task in holland an PSV will be no pushovers.
PSV have had a slow start to their domestic campaign with a couple of away draws but are perfect at home with three wins from three. With lots of goals in this side PSV have talent that will take watching and the dutch side will expect a big performance here against the English heavyweights Manchester United. With De Jong, Locadia and Narsingh up front this is a talented side and with home advantage and a hostile home crowd one thing is for sure this is going to be a tough game for the away side.
Hard to balance how much Wayne Rooney's loss will effect Manchester United but it's safe to say that they will their talisman and captain, at the weekend against one of their great rivals Liverpool they dealt well with the missing captain and players stepped up. Mata is the key for United and he has been instrumental in United's good start to the season. Taking Manchester United to get the win here is a tough call but I think they can get it done in Holland, this will be a tight one but United's midfield should allow them to get the win.
