Betis is welcoming Barcelona in round 28 of Spanish LaLiga.
Betis has been hot and cold this season and have won only 2 out of last 6 matches and both of those games were away. With 39 points and a record of 11 wins, 6 draws and 10 losses Betis is holding 8th spot in the standings and are onl 6 points away from Champions League spot but it will be very hard to acomplish that because teams like Valencia and Sevilla are fighting for same spot as well. In their last game against Celta Vigo, Betis was dominant throughout whole game with 63% ball possession with 4 shots on goal and impressive 88% of correct passes. Canales leads Betis with 6 goals while Lo Celso added 5 goals. Firpo, Barragan and Guerrero are all injured and will not play this game. Betis doesn’t really have quality or consistency to be higher in the standings this season and I think this is their maximum for this season.
Barcelona is playing in amazing form right now and once again have a chance to win triple crown this season, LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Champions League. Earlier this week, Barcelona demolished Lyon in Champions League 5-1 with 55% ball possession, 10 shots on goal and excellent defense allowing only 2 shot on goal. In LaLiga, Barcelona is on the top with 19 wins, 6 draws and only 2 losses and 69 scored goals and only 26 conceded goals. Messi Leads Barcelona with 26 goals and 12 assists in 25 games while Suarez added 17 goals. Rafinha, Vermalen and Dembele are injured and will not be playing in this match. Barcelona is the best team in Spain and one of the top 3 teams in Europe in the moment and after midweek victory over Lyon the team is filled with confidence and are eager to got to an international break with another win.
In this matchup I’m not giving a lot of chances to Betis because their defense is shaky and offensively, they can’t produce enough to top Messi, Suarez and Coutinho so I’m going to side with Barcelona.
Pick: Barcelona to win and over 3.5 goals combined
