Real Madrid is welcoming Levante in round 4 of Spanish LaLiga.
Real Madrid is still looking to get into good form and get some stability in their game. In the first three matches in LaLiga, Real Madrid has only 1 win and 2 draws with 4 conceded goals and 6 scored goals. In their last game against Villarreal, Real was a better team with 57% of ball possession, 5 shots on goal, 8 corner kicks, and 89% of correct passes. After being down 1-0, and 2-1, Gareth Bale managed to tie the game in 86th minute and it ended in a 2-2 draw. Gareth Bale was one of the players whose name was mentioned the most during the summer transfer window and was linked to many clubs, but Zinedine Zidane decided to keep him in Madrid and Bale has responded in the best way possible with 2 goals and 1 assist in 3 games. Rel Madrid has a great team with some of the best players in the world in each position, and in this match, we are finally going to see Eden Hazard debuting for Real Madrid at home. Real has been struggling defensively in these first games and has conceded at least 1 goal in each of the first three games and we are yet to see if this international break has brought any changes and stability to Real Madrid. Asensio, Rodrygo, Diaz, and Isco are all injured, while Rodriguez is still questionable. Real Madrid has started the season slow, but so did Barcelona who is their main competitor in LaLiga and I believe it's only a matter of time before Real Madrid turns the table and starts playing their usual fast and precise game.
After a solid last season for Levante, nobody thought that they could start the season this well, but surprisingly Levante has 2 wins and 1 loss and only 3 conceded goals in first three matches. In their last game against Real Valladolid, Levante played hard and a compact game where they had 50% of ball possession, 3 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, and 77% of correct passes and with two late goals from Leon, and Morales, Levante and won 2-0 in front of their fans. Marti Roger is the leading goal scorer for Levante with 2 goals and is expected to be in the lineup for this match as well. Coke is the only injured player for Levante and will not play in this match. Coach Paco Lopez is doing a fantastic job in this small club and is enjoying the full support from Levante's management and fans while players are trusting him completely. Levante is 4th in the standings at the moment with 6 points but I think they don't have enough depth and as the season will go on, Levante will slowly falling down the standings. I don't think that Levante can repeat last season and 15th place, instead, I think they will be scrapping for points and will be closer to the relegation zone.
In the last 12 home matches for Real Madrid against Levante, Real Madrid has won 9 times, Levante 2 time while 1 match ended up in a draw. Real Madrid hasn't won against Levante in their last 2 home matches while Levante scored at least 1 goal in last 5 games against Real Madrid. Real Madrid is a huge favorite here despite their sloppy defense and I see them winning here with at least 3 scored goals.
