Manchester City have been a big spending team once again this season and they will be put to the test this week as they take on Champions League winners and Spanish giants, Real Madrid. Both teams are filled with talent and it will be interesting to see how these sides fair up against each other when they take the pitch.
Manchester City need to sort out their defense since at the moment it looks like the pairing of Stones and Mangala will not do the trick. I think this team needs to invest in good center backs and that will change the entire complexion of the side. This team has invested in Walker and Mendy which were good purchases in my opinion so I think they are heading in the right direction.
Real Madrid on the other hand are a class act like they have always been. This team will look to build again in this window but as they currently are, they are still very good. Ronaldo is playing well and so is the likes of Modric and Isco. Bale is also back from injury so it will be critical that the Welsh superstar gets some game time in the preseason.
I think Real Madrid will be way too strong for Manchester City in this game and as a result I am going to predict that the Spanish side will win this game. We are getting a decent price on this bet so I am going to suggest that as the best bet for this match. The goals should also be flowing since City can’t defend so the over 2.5 goals also seems likely. Both teams to score also makes sense since both teams are capable of that.
