One of the games of the weekend in Europe and definitely the game of the weekend in Serie A will see Roma host Napoli at the Stadio Olympico on Saturday morning. Roma have been in a horrific run of form of late and have only won two of their last eleven games with an incredible eight draws in that run. So while Roma have not been winning they also have not been losing games. Manager Garcia knows his side is at its best when led by Francesco Totti but the thirty eight year old cant be expected to play every game. The International break does give Totti the chance to rest his legs for a week or so and that should benefit Roma but he will be coming up against one of the best defences in the league in Napoli. Roma have some terrific attacking start in Pjanic Llaijic and Gervinho but they still lack a twenty goal a season striker. Roma hold a slender one point advantage over cross city rivals Lazio in the race for second place a loss here would leave Roma hoping that Lazio slip up against relegation threatened Cagliari.
Napoli were hot on the heals of Roma five games ago but a run of two losses and two draws in their last four have left Napoli six points off second and Rafa Benitez side have slipped to fifth and are in real danger of not getting Champions League football next season. Higuain and Callejon have formed a terrific partnership this season and the former Real Madrid team mates will be looking to fire Napolit to a famous win in Stadio Olympico. Napoli have an array of attacking talent with Gabbiadini, Mertens, Hamsik all vying for a starting spot up front.
Two really good sides here and even though Roma are in the midst of a terrible run of form I dont think you can count them out, especially at home. I'm going to take both teams to score here as I think this one is going to be a tight tense affair but with so much attacking talent at their disposals I dont think they will need many chances to both find the net.
