Red Bull Salzburg will try to turn around a 2-0 deficit on Thursday night as they host Dinamo Minsk at the Red Bull Arena. This is a huge game for both clubs as the reality of missing out on the Europa League group stages will mean millions of Euro's in lost revenue. Having already crashed out of the Champions League qualifiers to Malmo, Salzburg will be anxious not to miss out here as well and they have to really dig themselves out of a hole as they trail 2-0 from the first leg. A goal for Dinamo Minsk could well seal it for the Belarussian side and that would be a huge upset in European football. Salzburg will look to Damari who has started the season hot with three goals in three games and Reyna to fire them to victory but this is going to be a tough game and one that could need extra time to split the sides.
Minsk know that if they score then Salzburg will need four goals to get through so obviously they will be anxious to get on the scoresheet. I still fear that they will set back and defend their lead though and this isnt a good way to play against a team like Salzburg who have the talent to hurt teams when in possession. Beciraj and Rassakin have formed a decent partnership up front for Minsk and Beciraj is the danger man with almost a goal every other game this season but this will be a tough ask for the minnows and the question really will be can they put pressure on Salzburg up the pitch and hold onto the ball?
This is a strange one for me as having seen the first leg I quite like Dinamo Minsk to get something here, definitely like them enough to get through the tie but am under no illusions about how tough a game this is going to be for the Belarussians and I also know that the home team have big game experience that is invalubable in situations like this one. For me though I think taking the away side +2 on the handicap looks the smart play this is a tough one to call though so just a min bet here.
