Brazil and Serbia face each other in the final round of games of the group stage in the 2018 World Cup. Neither side has secured their spot in the round of 16 and as a result, this game has great meaning to everyone involved.

Serbia have looked good all tournament. This side is well balanced and have shown that they can trouble most sides. Matic has done a great job in controlling the midfield while Newcastle United striker, Mitrovic, has troubled all the defenders. In addition to that, Kolarov and Ivanovic have provided attacking threat and defensive stability. Brazil will be the biggest test for Serbia and only a win will be enough for them to get a spot in the round of 16.

On the other side of the coin, Brazil needs to get a result from this game to ensure they have a spot in the knockout stages of the competition. This team has looked good but they are failing to finish games off. This was evident against Switzerland where they only managed to get a draw. This needs to improve in this fixture or there could be trouble. Brazil are one of the best teams in the competition and I think they will be more than good enough to beat Serbia.

With my prediction of Brazil winning this game, I think we can look at some betting options. While betting on Brazil is a safe bet, we are getting too short of a price to both to wager. The best bet for this game is the over 2.5 goals. Brazil loves to score and I think that they should be good enough to score 3 goals. Serbia also have the talent to score. This should be a safe bet.
