Southampton have bounced back from a slow start to the season and have won three on the bounce they will be looking to make it four when they face Leicester City on Saturday afternoon. Leicester themselves have made a terrific start to the season and sit just three points from top. Claudio Ranieri has done a terrific job since taking over the Foxes and Jamie Vardy has obviously benefitted from the belief of his manager as his form has been exceptional with seven goals in eight games. Mahrez has chipped in with five in seven appearances but overall the positive thing for Leicester City fans has to be the performances which have been really impressive thus far. Leicester are actually unbeaten away from home as well although Southampton will be a step up on the opposition they have faced away from the King Power Stadium.
Southampton come into this game off the back of their most impressive display of the year where they beat Chelsea 3-1 in Stamford Bridge, after going a goal down. Pelle is having a phenomenal season and with Tadic and Mane providing the ammunition the Italian striker has found his groove and is among the best strikers in the league right now. Ronald Koeman's biggest job is to balance his talented squad and to give everyone game time. The Saints have been climbing the table steadily and a win here against Leicester would see them leapfrog Leicester in the table. Saint Mary's will be rocking on Saturday and I think that it's very difficult not to take the home side here for a win.
I have looked at a few things here with regards to his game. I like how Leicester play and I think that Leicester will give a great account of themselves. Both teams to score looks the value on a single play market but one of the markets that really stands out to me is team to win and both to score. I love the price on Southampton to win and both to score we are getting bigger than 2/1 on what I think looks an outstanding bet. I am going to take Southampton to win and both to score in what is one of my bets of the weekend.
