Another great match up in the quarter final of the League Cup will see Championship side Sheffield Wednesday travel to the Britannia to take on Stoke City. Stoke were in hard luck at the weekend losing Ryan Shawcross to a second booking early in the second half. With a strong side in good form though Mark Hughes team will fancy their chances of making it to the semi finals of the League Cup here. In the last round Stoke knocked out Chelsea on penalties and will look to Walters , Bojan and Diouf to inspire them again as they take on a Sheffield Wednesday side who have accounted for Arsenal and Newcastle in the last two rounds.
There is no doubt that Sheffield Wednesday will not be worried about going to Stoke. After beating Newcastle in St James Park the Owls then beat a young Arsenal team in Hillsborough and have moved up to eight in the table. Playing very well recently Wednesday have only one loss away from home in their last seven away games this is a tough team to beat. Wedensday have a strong side with Nuhiu, Foresteiri, Wallace, Hooper and Bannan the latter three have plenty of Premier League experience and Wednesday played really well against Arsenal in the last round.
I think this will be a good game, tough to call here and I am going to take both teams to score here. I think Stoke are not a bad price to get the win but I think Sheffield Wednesday will put up a great display here an would not be surprised if it takes extra time to split these two.
