A Relegation dogfight battle live from the Mercedes Benz Arena in Stuttgart on Saturday as Hamburg travel to take on Stuttgart. With the top of the Bundesliga generally sorted out by April in recent years the most interesting part of the league table every year seems to be the relegation battle and this year is no different. This year any one from 18th to 13th could be relegated with just four points between Hertha in 13th and Stuttgart in 18th. Stuttgart have stayed in touch with the rest of the league due to their home form winning three of their last four at home and will look to make that four in five here against an inform Hamburg team.
Hamburg were dreadful from the middle of February to the end of April where they lost seven of nine and didnt win a game, that span included and 8-0 drubbing at Bayern Munich. Top scorer's this year for the team are Van Der Vaart and Lasogga with the massive amount of 4 goals. January signing Olic has only managed one but a goal and a win here tomorrow would be value for the ex bayern Munich striker. This is such a huge game for both teams but with Hamburg currently out of the bottom three a draw would seem to be a good result for the away side.
Very tough to call these relegation six pointers. After a season of struggles though Hamburg have come to life in their last four and look far more potent offensively. Stuttgart have been excellent at home and have won three of their last four. I think that both teams will get on the scoresheet here and that's my tip. Not sure whether either team will come away with the win but I do think both find the net.
