With Sunderland facing Watford on Saturday at the Stadium of llight fans will hope for a win that could lift them out of the relegation zone, after losing last weekend the Black Cats slipped back into the relegation zone as Bournemouth and Newcastle both won to move above them. Sam Allardyce knows his side will not be judged on their results against Arsenal, Chelsea or the Manchester clubs, it will though be judged on how they do against the promoted teams like Watford and their fellow relegation strugglers. With Defoe up top Big Sam has a genuine goal scorer but the team at the moment has been terrible at getting him chances. Defensively Sunderland have also been awful this season and they face a Watford team that have found their scoring boots in recent weeks.
Watford's Troy Deeney was struggling mightily at the start of the season but he has now scored five goals in his last six games, with Ighalo playing very well as well this is a team that look capable of competing in the league all season. Watford work very hard and they defend well too with clean sheets in three of their last six games. Watford have three wins in their last five away games so a trip to the North and the Stadium of light will not phase them. I like Watford here in this spot.
Take Watford to get the win here 2-0, not a huge bet but I'll be putting a unit on them at 8-1 to win by exactly two.
