With Swansea City suddenly finding form and Crystal Palace in the midst of a slump, the Swans are deserved favourites for this encounter in the Liberty Stadium. Swansea were in free fall a couple of weeks back as they couldnt buy a result but with two wins and a draw in their last three Swansea have moved away from the drop zone and five points clear of the relegation places. Swansea have had a very mixed bag season and they are far from safe but with Sigurddson, Ayew and Gomis they have match winners in their ranks and Ashley Williams at the back is one of the best centre halves in the league and will give Swansea a chance in most games.
Crystal Palace are a very tough team to handicap, their lack of a recognized striker led Alan Pardew to sign the enigma that is Emmanuel Adebayor. This is just the type of game that suits the big Togolese centre forward. A game where Crystal Palace are supposed to lose have so many injuries that they are on their bare thread squad. I think that with Zaha, Puncheon, Adebayor and Campbell there is enough talent here up front to win the game but Alan Pardew has also been excellent tactically in big games for Palace this season.
I think this game ends up being a good one to watch. While Swansea have improved I have to say I love the price on Palace here, this side is good defensively and on the counter attack they have massive amounts of pace on the wings. A 1-0 to Crystal Palace would be what I am thinking here and I am going to back Palace to get the win.
