Monday night football from the Liberty Stadium in Swansea as the Swans host Watford with both teams looking for a much needed win in the league. Watford have had a terrific season and a win on Monday night could see Watford move into the top half of the table and up to eight. With Deeney and Ighalo up front Watford have one of the best partnerships in the league and play an orthodox 4-4-2 which is now unorthodox! Watford have proven over the season that moving from the Championship to the Premier League, while a big step is not undoable and Watford have proved that you can do it without spending loads of money. Using a hard work ethic along with playing good football on the ground has led Watford to a great start to the season. Watford also made some shrewd signings in Behrami, Capoue and Ake(on loan from Chelsea) who have all done well for Watford. Sanchez Flores has proven himself to be a tactically astute manager as well and even though Watford have lost three of their last four they were very unlucky in two of those losses against Manchester City and Tottenham.
Swansea are in free fall again. Having lost there last three and nine of their last fifteen the Swans need a result. Gary Monk was let go as manager and Swansea sold Jo Jo Shelvey to Newcastle , a strange move selling to a fellow relegation candidate. With Ayew, Gomis and Sigurddson there is some attacking talent here but Swansea have struggled all year for consistancy and fluency. With Gomis in and aout of the team it's been up to Ayew and Sigurddson to provide the creation and goals and unfortunately the burden has proven too much. Swansea need to get a win and soon of their current position in the relegation zone may well be their finishing position.
Tough to take Watford here as an away team but I feel like this one should be a coinflip. We've too well matched teams here and I am going to take the team with the better strikeforce. Watford at 23/10 just look the value play.
