Swansea City look to get their first win since beating Aston Villa in October when they face West Ham in the Liberty stadium on Sunday. Swansea were desperately unlucky not to get something from their last game against Manchester City when they equalised in the last minute but succumbed to a late defelected goal by Ya Ya Toure. Gomis and Ayew are a good partnership and I think that Swansea can get out of trouble if these two can stay fit alongside Siggurdsson and Shelvey. The Swans really need a win though as the rest of the teams around them won and they have fallen into the relegation danger on Saturday.
West Ham United have struggled themselves of late with no wins in their last last but the hammers have only lost two fo those games drawing the other four. Slaven Bilic's side have been very tough to beat this season and have a terrific away record with wins at Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and a draw at Manchester United. Bilic sets his side up not to lose when away and it makes them difficult to break down playing a five man midfield and closing down the space quickly. The Irons are solid at the back and counter attack very well bu at the moment they are really struggling with injuries.
Tough one to call here, it's very hard to back Swansea given their struggles over the last two months which led to the firing of Gary Monk. I think Swansea have the players to turn things around but they really need to get a win soon. One thing that wasnt missing last time out was work ethic though and I think if the players can keep up that type of effort they will get their just rewards with some wins. So as tough as it is to take Swansea I'm taking the home team here.
