Germany will be in action in the FIFA World Cup as they take on Sweden. This is a game between two strong nations with both teams wanting to win. There is tons of talent in this match so we should expect to watch a great contest.
Sweden were good in their opening game as they beat South Korea. That has put them in a good position as they head into their second game. This team is filled with tons of talent and they showed that in their opening fixture. It will be interesting to see how Sweden play against bigger teams but on recent form in qualifying, they have done well. Forsberg in the main player that inspires Sweden going forward and he will need to be playing well if Germany are to be challenged.
Germany were in national crisis following their shock loss to Mexico in the opening round. While there is time to improve, the loss to Mexico showed many weaknesses in the German side. At the back, the centre-backs were being isolated too often and going forward, the strikers lacked finishing and flair. The manager, Lowe, made big decision leaving out the likes of Leroy Sane, Sandro Wagner and Mario Gotze from the side. If Germany fails to make it out of the group, this will definitely cost him his job. Sweden are not an easy side to beat meaning that Germany will have to greatly improve if they wish to win and keep the World Cup dream alive.
All in all, I think Germany will do enough to get the three points. After their loss to Mexico, I am not convinced by the Germans but I think there is enough talent for the 2014 World Cup winners to get a victory. We are getting very short odds on Germany so I would avoid that bet. The best bet in the under 2.5 goals. I don’t see either side scoring many goals so this should be a safe wager.
