Game of the weekend in the Premier League will see Chelsea travel across London to take on Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. Tottenham are one of the form teams in the Premier league and taking on a struggling Chelsea the home side will be looking for a positive result that could move them within one point of Manchester United. Tottenham have won four of their last five in all competitions and Harry Kane has caught fire recently scoring in each of his last six games and scoring nine goals over that period. Unfortunately Tottenham will be missing the very exciting youngster Delli Alli who is suspended but with Dembele, Erikson and Mason there in the midfield this team should have enough strength in depth to cover Alli's absence. Dembele has been terrific this season and with Erikson, Kane and Dembele all providing different aspects to the attack this is a team that can hurt opponents in a number of different ways.
Chelsea have won back to back games for just the second time this season and Jose Mourhino is looking to make it three wins and gather some momemtum for the first time. The Champions are probably not going to defend their title but Mourhino and co will want to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League. With Hazard, Willian, Fabregas and Costa there is so much attacking talent here that they will definitely fancy their chances of scoring in most games although they face the second best defence in the league here. Chelsea have under performed this season and defensively they have really struggled. John Terry and Cahill struggled against Harry Kane in this fixture last year but come the league cup final Chelsea appeared to have figured out the Tottenham striker. This is going to be a key battle here and if Chelsea's back four can keep Kane under wraps then Chelsea could be in the drivers seat here.
Tough game to call here while Tottenham have the form the have struggled to win against the bigger teams over the last couple of years and while I do like how Pochettino's side have been playing I think Chelsea will come here and frustrate Tottenham. Chelsea have an abundance of attacking talent though and while they havent been good this season they have been better in recent weeks, playing on the counter attack will also suit Chelsea with the pace of Hazard, Willian and Pedro on the counter will be key. Going to take the draw here as I see both teams cancel each other here.
