After a very interesting midweek round of matches in the English Premier League, we kick of the weekend with the North London derby as Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane to play Spurs. This game is between two of the best teams in England and the result of this match will have huge implications on the outcome of this season.
Arsenal will know that if they fail to win here, then their title race is all but over. This will be tragic for the club since this is the best chance I have seen them have in a long time. After beating Leicester City a few weeks back, I thought that they were almost favorites again but a poor run of form since has caused them to fall back by quite a bit. This game is one last chance for them since they will be able to catch up to their North London rivals in second place on points and that will give them a chance with the Leicester steam train ahead of them.
Tottenham on the other hand will want to also win since they are at home and they will want to give their home fans something to cheer about. In addition to that they will want to keep up the pressure on league leaders who are only a few points ahead of them. This will also give them a chance to have a quick turn around after a loss that they encountered against West Ham midweek.
Overall I think that this game is a little too tight to call so I am going to go for a draw here. Both teams have a lot to play for and both sides have talent. We are getting a great price on a draw as well so this bet makes sense in my opinion so I am going to take it as my pick for this game.
