Tottenham will be at home this weekend as Stoke City travels south to Wembley Stadium. Spurs have fallen away in the past few weeks and it is important that they turn their form around so the manager and the players will be desperate to do that against Stoke City this weekend.
Stoke City are only six points above the relegation zone at the moment and have lost many games away from home, they will not be feeling confident. This is a side that has many great attacking options in Shaqiri, Crouch and Jese but their defense is a big problem. This will not be an easy game for Stoke City since they are away from and will be up against opposition who are better than they are on paper.
Tottenham have dropped out of the top 4 after their draw to Watford last weekend and that will be causing some concern for the manager. This side is very talented but it seems like their project if losing belief with many of their key players such as Dele Alli and Harry Kane linked with moves away from the club. Winning a few games before the January transfer window might change the atmosphere around the team so it will be important that the Spurs get three points from Stoke City this weekend.
I think Tottenham will be good enough at home to get all three points. Unfortunately, we are not getting the right price to make this bet so I think we should avoid it. The value in this game is the over 2.5 goals which seems like a good wager considering the strong attacks the two sides have.
