Turkey is hosting France in round 3 of Euro Cup Qualifications.

Turkey is a solid team with some great players like Calhanoglu, Tosun and one of the best young players in the world, Cenkiz Under. Turkey is on a 5-game streak without a loss while in their last game against Uzbekistan they were absolutely dominant with 63% of ball possession, 7 shots on goal and 7 corner kicks and has won this match 2-0 with 2 goals from Zeki Celik. Turkey is in a group with France, Albania, Iceland, Andora, and Moldova, and while France will most likely win the top spot, Turkey will compete with Iceland and Albania for that second place. Turkey is a well-balanced team who is yet to concede a goal in these qualifications while they scored 6 in the first two games. Senol Gunes has been an interim head coach as of March this year and he was signed as a full-time head coach as od June 1st of this year. Turkey is playing is outstanding form and all of their important players are health so coach Gunes is expected to put out his strongest lineup. I expect a little bit more cautious game from Turkey here because they are playing World Champions after all.

France is a really good team, but in my opinion, they are not even in the top 5 in Europe with the soccer they are playing despite winning the World Cup in Russia last year. France is playing in a perfect form and has lost only 1 game since March of last year which is a very long run for a national team. In their last game in Euro Cup qualifications against Iceland, France was fantastic with 75% of ball possession, 5 shots on goal, 7 corner kicks and high 91% of correct passes and thanks to Umtiti, Giroud, Mbappe and Griezman, France has won 4-0. The French team is full of superstars and some of the best players in the world like Mbappe, Pogba, and Griezman who is currently the most wanted player in the market and might end up in Barcelona in the next few weeks. Didier Deschamps is a French legend and one of the few people who were able to win the World Cup as a player and as a coach. Since Deschamps was signed in July of 2012., France has won 59 games, lost 16 games while 17 matches ended in a draw. France is not playing fast soccer, instead, they are focusing on possession and slow and careful build-up of their attacks which is working really good for them because Pogba, Kante and Griezman are some of the best players in the world while having the ball in their feet. France will most likely win their Euro Cup Qualifications group and will once again be amongst the top favorites to win the Euro Cup. When France won the World Cup in 1998., they also won the Euro Cup in 2000., and that’s why fans and players are hoping they can repeat that success one more time.

Turkey is a solid team and head to head these two teams have met only twice with France winning both of those games. Both Turkey and France are playing in good form and are scoring a lot of goals and for that reason, I will pick something on goals here.

Being from Croatia I was raised with soccer all around me and I loved to watch and play soccer ever since i was little kid, especially after Croatia won third place in 1998 World Cup in France. I watch and follow soccer on a daily basis and to get the oppurtunity to write about it is amazing.
