The early game from Italy on Wednesday comes from Udinese as the home team host Atalanta in what promises to be an interesting encounter. Udinese have struggled of late to get things going losing three of their last four but at home at least they have been tough to play against with three wins and a draw in their last five appearances with their lone loss being to league leaders Inter Milan. Udinese are still struggling to find goals with talisman Di Natale still the focal point of their attack and Thereau being the top marksman with just five goals so far this season. Udinese have managed just fifteen goals this season that is the second worst in the league behind bottom club Hellas Verona.
Atalanta have struggled themselves this season with the team scoring just nineteen goals this season. Midfielder/WInger Gomez has topped the scoring charts for Atalanta but again with the low mark of five. Atalanta will be hoping Denis and Pinilla find their scoring boots to allow Atalanta to take advantage of their stellar defensive displays this season. Atalanta have conceded just ninteen goals this season the fifth best defence in Serie A this season , if they could convert a few more chances then they could make a run at European football.
This one looks nailed on for the unders, in fact a 0-0 looks like a rather enticing bet especially as its an early morning midweek kickoff this very well could finish goalless. I'm taking the unders though as we look to kick off Wednesday's full list of Serie A fixtures with a winner.
