UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifying: Best Bets – 10/11/19 – Odds, Predictions, and Picks

Sipa USA-USA TODAY Sports

The next two rounds of Euro 2020 qualifiers take place over six days, giving us heaps of chances to make some money on the soccer this week.

I’m predicting high-scoring wins for Portugal and Ukraine, while England may not have it all their own way against Czech Republic.

Let’s take a look at the best bets for Friday’s UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifying games.

Czech Republic vs. England – 10/11/19

England have won their first 4 qualifying matches in Group A and are looking like the only genuine candidate to finish top of the group. Czech Republic are 3 points behind England, but the table toppers do have a game in hand. England have scored a whopping 19 goals in their 4 matches at a rate of just under 5 goals per game so far. However, their defense looked unconvincing last time out against Kosovo as it conceded 3 goals. For that reason, both teams to score and England to come away with all three points makes sense for this match.

Pick: England to Win and Both Teams to Score – 3.40

Portugal vs. Luxembourg - 10/11/19

After drawing their opening 2 matches, Portugal appear to be back to their best following back-to-back wins. They beat Serbia 4-2 before putting 5 past Lithuania and they look set to post a big score against Luxembourg. The visitors have conceded 8 goals in their first 5 matches in Group B, and with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix thirsty for goals, Luxembourg could be in for a thrashing. Portugal are likely to continue their run of high-scoring matches with another convincing win on Friday.

Pick: Portugal to Win and Over 3.5 Goals – 1.89

Ukraine vs. Lithuania – 10/11/19

Remarkably, Ukraine have conceded just once in 5 qualifying matches so far. They sit at the top of Group B – 5 points clear of second-place Portugal – after winning 4 and drawing 1. On the other hand, Lithuania are the group’s lowest scoring side with 4 goals in 5 games. They have also conceded the most goals (15) and are conceding at an average of 3 goals per game. Given the two team’s contrasting defensive records, Ukraine should win this comfortably. They are likely to score 3 or more goals while keeping a clean sheet in the process.

Pick: Ukraine to Win, Keep a Clean Sheet and Over 2.5 Goals – 2.23
