Vancouver Whitecaps vs Minnesota United - 7/28/18 MLS Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The MLS continues this weekend with two teams in the Western Conference facing off against each other. This match will be between the Vancouver Whitecaps and Minnesota United. These two teams are within two points of each other on the standings so winning will be essential for all the players involved. This should ensure that we get a very interesting and hard fought game of soccer.

The Vancouver Whitecaps have had a really tough few weeks as they have only won 1 out of their last 5 games. To makes matters worse, the team managed to get no draws so the 4 games were all losses. This is not what was expected from the team and they will be desperate to improve. This is going to be a home game for the Vancouver Whitecaps and they have shown that they are much better at home than they are on the road so this is the best chance the Canadian team will have to turn things around.

As far as Minnesota United are concerned, this is a game where they can beat a team that is out of form. The visitors have won their past three games which included a 4 goal win over LAFC. Things are looking good for this team and they seem to be gelling well as a unit. This will be one of the harder games that Minnesota will have to play since they will have to travel to Vancouver which is never an easy place to visit. That being said, Minnesota United are in red-hot form and it is hard to see them slip up against a struggling Vancouver Whitecaps side.

All in all, I am going to predict that Minnesota United will win away from home. The visitors are in much better form and I think that will carry them to victory. Expect this to be a high scoring game since both Vancouver and Minnesota are very efficient in front of goal. 3 or 4 goals can be expected in this fixture.
