Huge game in the Euro 2016 qualifiers as Belgium travel to Wales on Friday night. Belgium hammered France last weekend and looked like the team that were just about beaten by Argentina in the World Cup. With Lukaku, Benteke, Hazard, De Bruyne, Kompany and Courtois this really is a team of superstars and they are ready to be counted as one of the best in the world. Belgium need at least a point here to keep themselves at the top of the qualifying group. This is a team that are ready to take over as one of the best in Europe but they need to win games like this against tough oppoents like Wales. Under Marc Wilmots the team has found a groove and I think that on Friday the team finally opens up in a qualifying campaign. With thirteen goals scored and one conceded it is obvious where the strengths are the only question is can they get the better of a tough Wales defence?
Wales under Chris Coleman have been very tough to beat and they have matched Belgium so far in qualifying with three wins and two draw, the Welsh performance in Belgium was very impressive the only question now is can they improve on that defensive performance and turn that draw into a win in the Millenium stadium? Real Madrid's attacker/winger Gareth Bale is the main man at Wales but he is ably assisted by Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey and both will be looking to put in performances on Friday night. The Welsh side have proven time and again during this campaign that they have what it takes to qualify and a result here against Belgium would be a huge step towards qualification for the Euro 2016 tournament.
While I do like what Wales have done so far I think Belgium are in a much more settled place now than they were when Wales played them earlier in the group. This is why I think the 3/4 about Belgium winning on Friday looks a really good bet to me. I am taking Belgium and Fellaini and co to get the win.
