The last tine Watford won a game was at home, to Newcastle in the Fa Cup. So Watford players and fans alike will be hoping for a case of Deja Vu when Newcastle visit on Saturday. Both teams could do with a win but Watford have now lost four of their last five and could do with a win here. Watford's front two of Deeney and Ighalo are among the best in the league , the best parntership and two strikers who are quality finishers and playing with an almost telepathic link. Watford have been terrific at home against the teams they should beat and facing Newcastle here as another team they should beat this is a game that Watford will look to start fast and get the win.
Newcastle United have lost seven of their last nine on the road. The magpies have also lost three of their last five and are struggling to get the wins they need to move away from the relegation zone. Steve McLaren's side picked up a massive win last week against West Ham that has them on the verge of the relegation zone. With Perez, Mitrovic, Cissokho and Wijnaldum there is enough talent here to win games but Newcastle have been so inconsistent on their travels that it is very hard to trust this team.
For me Watford have been one of the stories of the year so far, I'm going to take the Watford to get a win here as I think Deeney and Ighalo will be too good for the Newcastle back four and at Vicarage Road this should be played in a really good atmosphere with a really passionate home support. Watford are also due a bit of luck here having lost two games at home to Tottenham and Manchester City that they deserved more from, the thing about the Premier League though is if you dont take your chances you get punished.
