High flying West Ham United take the best away record in the Premier League to vicarage road on Saturday knowing that a win over Watford could move the hammers up to second in the table or even to the top of the table if results go their way. Slaven Bilic has done a remarkable job for the Irons and will be looking to continue to get the best out of his talented squad. Payet, Sakho , Zarate and the fit again Andy Carroll bring a serious goal threat to the league and West Ham really have looked like a top four team this year and deserve to be where they are in the league.
Watford though have their own strong form at the moment and in their last six but the best results they have had have actually been away from home. Watford won last week away to Stoke a huge win for the newly promoted side and finally a Premier League goal for Troy Deeney. If Watford are to stay up they are going to need to score more goals , with just eight goals in ten games that is not going to be enough to stay up in this league and they are going to have to win their home games. Watford have just one win in five games at home and have lost their last two home games. They face a tough task on Saturday but this is the type of game they need to win.
I've looked at this a few times but rather than over think it I'm just going to throw a couple of stats out there and take West Ham. Firstly West Ham have won four of their five away games and are unbeaten away from home this season. Secondly West Ham have wins at Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool this season. That is a who's who of the league and given Watford's struggles to score goals I just cant go against a West Ham team that are underdogs here. The only reason this isnt a max bet is because it's really tough to take a team like West Ham away from home as a max bet but the odds dictate that we should have a right go at this one. West Ham should be favourites here but we are getting them as underdogs.
