Arsenal are back in action this weekend as the gunners travel to the midlands to take on West Brom. The game may end up being one-sided but there is a lot of value in this match and that is always a positive.
Arsenal have been very good this season and are equal leaders with Manchester City on points. This side has plenty of superstars and have combined pace and discipline well to create a solid all round team. An example of this was their victory at home against the mighty Bayern Munich. Having said that, Arsenal haven’t won in their last 2 games so Wenger will be determined in ensuring that this match ends up with them getting the full 3 points so that they can keep up with City.
West Brom on the other hand will go into this match as massive underdogs and in my opinion they will need to do something spectacular to get anything out of this match. The Baggies have some quality in their squad with the likes of Ben Foster and Rickie Lambert but as a whole they are nothing compared to what Arsenal have. In addition to this West Brom have lost their last 2 games so the overall team confidence may be low. That being said, Tony Pulis is an amazing manager and the Hawthorns is a ground that away teams have found hard in the past so there is still hope, as little as it may be, of West Brom fans out there.
Overall this game can only go one way in my opinion which is a win for Arsenal. There is no value on betting on the outright result simply since Arsenal have odds which are way too low. The bet that I think is value is the one with a handicap. West Brom have managed to win a lot at home and when they have lost home games, they have been small margin loses. That is why I think that West Brom (+1.5) is the best pick for this game.
