On Saturday morning Arsenal will travel across London to Upton Park to take on West Ham in a vital Barclay's Premier League encounter.
Arsenal simply can not drop any more points if they want to win the Premier League title, even if the Gunners manage to win every game there is no guarantee that Leicester City will drop enough points for Arsenal to be able to catch them. Arsene Wenger must trust in the players he has to complete the job at hand, Mezut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez , Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud will need to create and score the goals that could give Arsenal a slight chance at the title. Arsenal have come into some solid form at the right time of the season and will be looking for all three points here even though this is one of the toughest match ups in the Premier League right now. Defensively Arsenal have been very solid of late with Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny excelling and leading by example. If Arsenal are to get back into this title race they must make a statement here in London by beating West Ham.
In the running for one of the best stories of the year is West Ham as they have gone from relegation candidate to Champions League hopeful. Slaven Bilic has turned the entire club around and he believes in this group of players. The Hammers have been very impressive this season. Dimitri Payet is a front runner for player of the year, his ability from a free kick is second to no one in the Premier League right now and he scored last right in the top corner. Payet has tremendous ability and with Enner Valencia, Andy Carroll and Michel Antonio there is plenty of attacking players that can chip in for West Ham in the scoring stakes. West Ham beat Arsenal in the Emirates earlier in the season and to me right now they are going to be a very tough team to beat.
This one is so tough to call. Arsenal have definitely improved of late and look much better now than they did a month ago while I think Arsenal might nick this one I dont think they should be favourites and I definitely dont think West Ham should be 11/4, for me the bookmakers are under estimating the hammers a dangerous mistake to make. My pick though is for both teams to score. Both offences look to have a slight upper hand on their counterparts defence and I think this could be another great West Ham game with plenty of goals.
