West Ham host Palace in what should be one of the most contested matches in the Premier League this weekend. West Ham have recently have been in a funk and were able to respond with a win last week but if they want to contest European positions these are the types of games they must win.
On the other side, ever since Pardew was appointed Palace manager they have been on a run and it seems like they are playing with a lot more energy and Chamakh and co are really earning the results. Nevertheless, considering both teams projections this is quite a tough task for Palace. Considering that Upton Park is a very complicated place to visit regardless of the season, visiting West Ham when they are having one of the best seasons in their history is probably the last thing that Pardew wants in the middle of their superb run of form. Nevertheless, they will face Carroll, Sakho and Enner Valencia in what is probably the best form of their time at West Ham.
Although Palace did fall into a slump after Pardew’s first appointment it is to expect that they will make these types of games very hard to top tier opposition due to the fact that they want to remain in the Premier League, and with quality forwards and the tactical advantage that Pardew provides I believe that Palace do have the quality to net a goal. However, West Ham’s prolific scoring all season should be a problem for Palace and West Ham could well edge a narrow victory.
In order to keep it on the safer side I recommend a Both Teams To Score bet as West Ham does usually concede a goal due to their attacking nature.
