Wolfsburg look to continue their great form when they play host to Hamburg in the Friday night Bundesliga game. Wolfsburg manager Heckling will have to be happy with his team's form as they have won six of their last seven games and have some impressive results in there including a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at home. Wolfsburg are heavily reliant on former Bayern Munich striker Olic who leads the way with six goals in twelve games, alongside brazilian playmaker Diego. Together the two seem to have formed a decent partnership as Diego plays in the hole behind the striker. Olic has been particularly impressive of late with five goals in his last five games, including that winner against Dortmund.
Hamburg are a tough team to read, two wins, two losses and a draw in their last five. There is no doubt of the talent in Van Marjiwk's squad as Rafael Van Der Vaart, Beister and Lasogga have all been finding the net consistantly. The problem for Hmaburg though has been consistant performances. I think there is much more in this Hamburg team that we are seeing and I am certain they will move up the table in the coming weeks and months but I do have a feeling this will be another season of under achievement.
For this pick though I just love the over here. Wolfsburg have been great at home this season with six wins in seven, Hamburg have been scoring anc conceding freely in recent weeks and six of Hamburg's last seven games have gone over the mark. Five of the last six Wolfsburg games have also gone over. I think we see an open game tonight and I expect the Volkswagon Arena to be rocking, I'm expecting to see at least three goals but I really think it will be four or maybe even five.
