The game of the round in the Europa League will see Wolfsburg hosting Inter Milan on Thursday night. Wolfsburg have been in sensational form of late and are one of the most free scoring teams in Europe this season. Led by Kevin De Bruyne's inspirational performance's in midfield and Dost's goals have led Wolfsburg to second in the league table in the Bundesliga and they are in pole position to claim Champions league football next season. With Dost, Bendtner and De Bruyne there is plenty of attacking talent in this Wolfsburg side but they have struggled a little in Europe at times as their first priority has clearly been the league. I think having reached the last sixteen Wolfsburg will now play their full strength side and tonight should be an excellent game to watch.
Inter Milan came from behind twice at the weekend to draw 2-2 with Napoli in a terrific game. Roberto Mancini has definitely turned things around for Inter since taking over and although they are now up to ninth I think Inter will look at this game and this competition as their only realistic chance of getting into the Champions League next season. I expect Inter Milan to really go for it in this competition. Icardi, Podolski and Shaqiri will be key to their chances although Freddy Guarin has proved to be an inspirational player the last couple of games and scored a brilliant winner in the last round against Celtic.
This one should be a great spectacle as we have two teams with plenty of attacking talent coming up against two defences that have been less than dependable this season. I'm going to take over 3.5 goals here. It's a big number but there is lots of attacking talent on display tonight and I'm hoping for a 3-3 classic like Inter produced in the previous round against Celtic. Hopefully we will see attack after attack tonight.
