Real Madrid might just think that thinks are changing for the better for them since they not only beat Barcelona at the Camp Nou but they also managed to draw Wolfsburg in the Champions League. This should feel like Christmas for Zidane and his men since this is surely the easiest Champions League quarter final and they will want to take full advantage of this draw by winning convincingly.
Real Madrid had been playing some poor football in their standards as of late but the win over Barcelona should spark better things for them in my opinion. This midweek they will have to travel to Germany and I think that this is the leg that will define this tie. If Wolfsburg can somehow win at home, then they have a chance but it is going to be tough since Real Madrid are a good side. Wolfsburg are not the team they were last year but they are still in it so anything could happen but I wouldn’t bet on it.
Real Madrid on the other hand will want to kill the tie here by winning on the road but they will know that to do so they will need to focus. If this team plays well, then they will surely win but at time this has been lacking so it will be interesting to see what type of Real Madrid turn up in Germany for this game.
Will all that in mind I am still picking a Real Madrid win here. Unfortunately, we are not getting the right price to place a bet but still we should look at this game for betting in other methods. The under 2.5 goals is a good bet since knockout games tend to be low scoring and I expect Wolfsburg to play a tight style of football so that should keep the score low. This bet is getting the right price and it is value in my opinion so I will take it.
