In the English Premier League, Manchester City will travel to Wolverhampton where they will play against Wolves.

Manchester City were very impressive over the weekend as they defeated Leicester City 3-1 at home. The Sky Blues conceded the lead early but fought back strongly to ensure it was a comfortable win. Riyad Mahrez looked in outstanding touch as he scored Manchester City’s first goal. Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus also contributed with goals. Winning the Premier League seems unrealistic for Manchester City but the team is playing well and they will be hoping to continue their strong run of form as the team still has ambitions of winning the Champions League.

On the other side of the coin, Wolves enter this match having beaten Norwich 2-1 away from home in their previous outing. It was a solid performance by Wolves as the team had 14 shots. It has been a strong season for Wolves as the team is currently 6th on the Premier League ladder with 27 points from their 18 games. This is expected to be an extremely tough outing for Wolves since they are playing against an elite team in Manchester City.

Manchester City and Wolves played each other earlier in the season. The match was played at the Etihad Stadium where Wolves caused a major upset by winning 2-0. Adama Traore was the star performer for Wolves as the midfield player scored both goals. Manchester City will feel that they were unlucky since they had 76% of the ball and 18 shots.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to pick Manchester City to win this match. Manchester City have looked in outstanding touch over the past few weeks and it seems like this team has the ability to score against any opposition. I don’t see Wolves having enough defensive quality to contain Manchester City. I see the Sky Blues leaving with all 3 points. The over 2.5 goals wager seems like good value since both teams have lots of attacking talent.
