The Line: -- Over/Under:
We have reached the second round of the ATP Rogers Cup event which will see German superstar, Alexander Zverev, enter. The number 2 seed was given an opening round bye due to his ranking and will now play in the round of 32. His opponent will be Bradley Klahn from the USA. This should be a good match between two very talented tennis players.
Alexander Zverev is coming off an ATP title win as he won the Citi Open in Washington DC. The German was very dominant in that tournament as he only lost all set in the entire campaign. Alexander Zverev will hope that he can continue his good form as it will be important that he is playing good tennis for the US Open which starts very soon. The Rogers Cup is one of the bigger non-grand slam events and I am sure that Alexander Zverev will want to win this tournament so he can add it to his ever-growing trophy cabinet.
His opponent, Bradley Klahn, made it to this tournament via the qualifying tournament and then beat David Ferrer in the round of 64. That is a big accomplishment and it has earned Bradley Klahn a Wild Card spot in the US Open. Things are looking very promising for Bradley Klahn and if he can win this match, he would have beaten two top tennis players back-to-back. This match will be much harder than the previous one for Bradley Klahn as Alexander Zverev is a top player and much better than David Ferrer in 2018.
While Bradley Klahn has impressed, I don’t think he will win. Alexander Zverev is a player in another league and I think he will be too good for the American. This should be quite an easy win for the German and I see him finishing to task in straight sets.
