We have reached the quarterfinals of the Citi Open and with only 8 players remaining in the tournament, the stakes are high. All the players will be determined to win and make it to the final 4 so we should expect some really good tennis. One of the top matches will be between the top-seeded player, Alexander Zverev from German, and the number 7 seed, Kei Nishikori from Japan. Both players are very experienced and full of talent so this should be an exceptionally exciting tennis match.

Alexander Zverev had a big win in the round of 16 of the Citi Open as the world number 3 beat his brother in straight sets. The German looked dominant in that victory and will be feeling full of confidence as he heads into the quarterfinals. This is a very important stage of the tournament and Alexander Zverev has been known to lose with the title in sight so the German will be very determined to ensure he is focused.

On the other side of the court, Kei Nishikori will feel that if he can win this game, he has a really good chance of winning this tournament. The Japanese superstar has been playing some incredible tennis and has won all his games in this tournament in straight sets. This will be the hardest test that the Japanese superstar will face in Washington DC and it will be very interesting to see who Kei Nishikori handles the quality of Alexander Zverev.

This is a game between two very good players and while it is very hard to predict a winner, I am going to back Alexander Zverev to win. The German superstar is the better player and I think that he will be focussed enough to beat the talented Kei Nishikori. We are getting a good enough price to wager on Alexander Zverev winning so that is the wager which I am going to suggest we make.

Pick:
Alexander Zverev
