Alexander Zverev and Matteo Berrettini meet in the second round of the 2018 tennis Rome Masters.

Alexander Zverev is probably the hottest player in the world right now, as he’s won nine straight matches, picking up the Bavarian Championships and Madrid Open titles in the process. Zverev is simply serving out of his mind right now and has won each of his last 18 sets played. It’s gotten to the point where I’m sure Zverev didn’t even want some time off, he probably wanted to jump right back into another match. If Zverev is going to play like this on clay for the rest of the year, he’s a legit threat to push Nadal and win his first ever grand slam. Zverev is playing that well, and the confidence has to be out this world for the 21-year-old. Get all of the Zverev future bets locked in while you can. Zverev has won nine straight matches on clay court.

Matteo Berrettini is coming off a straight sets win over Frances Tiafoe that took 22 games to decide. In the victory, Berrettini won 80 percent of his first serve points and 50 percent of his second serve points. Berrettini managed to win his first round match despite producing just one break, as he won 68 percent of his service points and hit seven aces. It was a very impressive showing for somebody who has very little experience on the main tour, as Tiafoe is a talented young player and one of the rising American stars. It’s also important to note that Berrettini will be given a boost from the crowd in this match given that it’s taken place in his backyard. Berrettini has zero career victories over top-10 players. Berrettini has split his last eight matches on clay court.

This will be the first time these two play on the tennis court.

Berrettini has done well in the smaller tournaments and will have the crowd behind him, but he’s likely over his head in this match. Zverev is simply in another zone right now, as he’s won two straight titles and is serving out of his mind. Berrettini hasn’t been in this situation often and is sure to struggle.

Zverev rolls in straight sets.
