Andy Murray and Milos Raonic square off Sunday in the 2016 Wimbledon final.

Andy Murray is coming off a straight sets win over Tomas Berdych that took less than two hours. In the victory, Murray won 44 of 57 first serve points and racked up 20 winners and nine unforced errors. Murray has made just 32 unforced errors in his last eight sets and has won 20 of his last 23 sets overall. I keep saying that Murray is currently playing some of the best tennis of his life, and he continues to do so with incredible performance after incredible performance. This is now Murray’s sixth final appearance this season and he has a shot at his ninth win over a top-10 player. Murray looks for his third career grand slam title and first since the 2013 Wimbledon. Murray has won 11 straight matches on grass.

Milos Raonic is coming off a five set win over Roger Federer that took nearly three and a half hours. In the victory, Raonic won 94 of 113 first serve points and racked up 75 winners and 40 unforced errors. Raonic was able to win a long raining battle and won 68 percent of his net points. Raonic now has 36 aces and 133 winners in his last two matches combined. Raonic is serving out his mind right now and has a shot at his ninth career title and sixth win over a top-10 player this season. Raonic has a shot at his first grand slam title and this will be his first grand slam final appearance. Raonic has won 12 of his last 14 matches on grass.

These two have met nine times in the past and Murray has won six of those meetings. The most recent match was in this year Aegon Championships, a match Murray won in three sets. Murray has won the last five matches and Raonic’s last win came in the 2014 Indian Wells Masters. This will be the second match on grass.

This should be a hell of a final, especially with the way Raonic is serving and hitting his spots. However, I’ve been saying that Murray’s playing some of his best tennis ever for about three months now. The dude is just getting it done right now.

Add the support from the home crowd and I like Murray to win yet again. You just can’t bet against the dude in his current form.
