We have reached the round of 16 at the ATP Atlanta Open in the USA. This is the stage of the tournament where the top players step up and make that big leap to the quarterfinals. In the round of 16, we will be seeing a big match as Taylor Fritz from the USA takes on Chung Hyeon from South Korea. This will be a big game for both players so we can expect some top quality tennis to be played.

Chung Hyeon was drawn with a bye in the opening round meaning that he got straight entry to the round of 16 stage of the tournament. The South Korean is a top player and he is currently the top-ranked player from his country. Chung Hyeon is the 23rd ranked player in the world and he will enter this tournament with high hopes of winning his first ATP title. It has been some time since Chung Hyeon last played on the ATP tour as he missed both French Open and Wimbledon due to injury. The injury was devastating for the South Korean as he was in incredible form. Chung Hyeon will hope that he can find his top form quickly and return to the top of his game.

On the other side of the coin, Taylor Fritz will look to use the home crowd to his advantage. While the American will be a fan favorite, this will be a very tough match for him. Fritz is less experienced and less accomplished than his opponent and there seems to be a clear difference in skill. Taylor Fritz will need to hope that Chung Hyeon is not 100% and slips up to give him a chance.

All in all, I am going to predict that Chung Hyeon will win. While this is the first time the South Korean will be playing since his injury, I still think he is good enough. There is too much difference in talent for Chung Hyeon to lose.
