Belgian superstar David Goffin is going to be in action in Madrid as he takes on British tennis player Kyle Edmund. Both players have been in decent form this season and will look to run deep in this tournament, especially since there are no massive names left.

David Goffin has had a very solid 2018 and is coming off a strong tournament in Barcelona where he lost to Rafael Nadal. The former world number 7 is looking to make it to the top and if he is to do that, these are tournament that he must win. On paper, Goffin is the more accomplished player and if he plays well, he should be good enough to get the win.

On the other side of the court, Kyle Edmund will feel that he is playing well enough to win this game. The UK based player has had a very strong season and has been constantly running deep in tournaments. This game will test him since he is up against a top player in David Goffin. That being said, Edmund managed to eliminate Novak Djokovic in the last game he played and that should give him a massive confidence boost heading into this clash.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to predict that David Goffin wins this game. The Belgian is the better player and considering both players are in good form, it makes sense to side with the more accomplished tennis player. We are getting a good enough price to wager on Goffin to win outright and due to that reason, it is the bet which I am going to be suggesting.

Pick:
David Goffin
