Daniel Masur vs Diego Schwartzman

The Line: -- Over/Under:
Diego Schwartzman has established himself as one of the top tennis players in Argentina and he will look to further his reputation as he prepares to play his second round match at the German Open. Diego Schwartzman is the second seed for this tournament and he will take on Daniel Masur from Germany who is unseeded. Both players are full of talent and that means we should be able to enjoy a high quality tennis match.
Diego Schwartzman is a very good tennis player and he has shown that over the past seasons. The Argentine won his opening round match in 3 sets as he beat promising Norwegian player, Casper Ruud. The victory was not as convincing as Diego Schwartzman would have liked but the number 2 seed looked to be hitting the ball well and he should get confidence from that. It has been a poor few months for Diego Schwartzman as he was eliminated from the Swedish Open in the opening round and eliminated from Wimbledon in the second round. The last deep run that Diego Schwartzman made was in the French open which occured over one month ago and I am sure the second seed will look to make another deep run in this tournament.
On the other side of the coin, Daniel Masur made it into this tournament via qualifiers. The German looked good in the qualifying match and was very solid in his opening round clash as he won in straight sets. At 23 years of age, Masur is still very young and still developing as a tennis player. This will be a big tournament for the German and if he can beat a top player like Diego Schwartzman, it will be massive for his career. This will be one of the biggest tests of Masur’s career and it will be interesting to see if he can handle the occasion.
While this should be an entertaining match, I am expecting Diego Schwartzman to win easily. The Argentine is a top tennis player and he is at a much high level when compared to Daniel Masur. I expect an easy win for the talented Argentine.
