Felix Auger-Aliassime saves more match points to set up a meeting with Egor Gerasimov in the quarterfinals of the 2020 Marseille Open. Who will make it to the semifinals?

Egor Gerasimov was very impressive against David Goffin, beating the world No.10 in straight sets. Goffin just really hasn't found his rhythm and Gerasimov took complete advantage of it. Gerasimov served well in the important moments and was able to come back from a break down in the first set. Gerasimov is tall, strong and surprisingly fast around the court. Gerasimov can be a threat to anyone if they let their guard down, and he will look to do the same to Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarterfinals.

Felix Auger-Aliassime saved more match points in his incredible match against Pierre-Hughes Herbert to book his spot in the quarterfinals. FAA won the first set with incredible ease winning 6-0. However, the second and third set where much tighter with no breaks in either. Herbert won the second set tiebreak and in the third set tiebreak he had multiple match points. FAA showed incredible determination and did not have any fear when it came to the match points, he stepped up and played his best. FAA will want to have an easier match in the quarterfinals and if he focuses more he definitely can.

This will be the first meeting between both players, and unfortunately for Gerasimov, this will be a FAA victory. FAA is the better player, and although Gerasimov beat the world No.10, Goffin was not in great form. FAA will come out motivated and play the big points well.

Felix Auger-Aliassime to win.
